ban comic sans

A brand new project from Dave and Holly Combs, the creators of ban comic sans, is in the works. The project is called BigTurnOff.org and like ban comic sans is also a social experiment of sorts, but has nothing to do with fonts. However, just as the ban comic sans project effectively questions the widespread inappropriate use of the font Comic Sans, BigTurnOff.org aims to question and examine the pervasiveness of digital media in our lives. The intent of the project is to organize a worldwide event for participants to take twenty four hours off from digital media, document, and share their experiences, um, digitally.
